I picked up our quarter beef last week from our meat farm share. This is grass fed and finished free of antibiotics and hormone supplements and all that bad stuff. The family that is operating the farm share only started recently but they seem to be enjoying what they’re doing. I am always welcomed with a smile.
What cuts of meat did we receive? Let’s take a look:
We asked for the Rib Roast and Brisket as non standard cuts in lieu of Ribeye steaks and I think we swapped something else for the Brisket, but I am not sure what.
All around, I think it was a pretty good deal for the money. We haven’t had the chance to cook any yet, but I for one am looking forward to it.
