This is grass fed and finished free of antibiotics and hormone supplements and all that bad stuff.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/nitsuj.net\/files\/images\/WhatDoesaQuarterofaCowNetYou_12B97\/2009_0917csa0010.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" style=\"display: inline; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border: 0px;\" title=\"Roasts\" src=\"http:\/\/nitsuj.net\/files\/images\/WhatDoesaQuarterofaCowNetYou_12B97\/2009_0917csa0010_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"Roasts\" width=\"240\" height=\"180\" align=\"right\" border=\"0\"><\/a> I picked up our quarter beef last week from our meat farm share. The family that is operating the farm share only started recently but they seem to be enjoying what they\u2019re doing. I am always welcomed with a smile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>What cuts of meat did we receive? Let\u2019s take a look:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>One Rib Roast<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One Arm Roast<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One Rump Roast<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Three Chuck Roasts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ten Strip Steaks<a href=\"http:\/\/nitsuj.net\/files\/images\/WhatDoesaQuarterofaCowNetYou_12B97\/2009_0917csa0016.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"Steaks\" width=\"240\" height=\"180\" align=\"right\" border=\"0\" style=\"display: inline; margin-left: 0px; margin-right: 0px; border: 0px;\" src=\"http:\/\/nitsuj.net\/files\/images\/WhatDoesaQuarterofaCowNetYou_12B97\/2009_0917csa0016_thumb.jpg\" alt=\"Steaks\"><\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Three packages of Filet (not sure how many steaks per package)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Four packages of Round Steak<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two packages of Sirloin Steak<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One Beef Brisket<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two packages of soup bones<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two packages of stew meat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One package of Short Ribs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Seventeen packages of ground meat that appear to be over a pound each<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two packages of liver<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One heart<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>One tongue<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We asked for the Rib Roast and Brisket as non standard cuts in lieu of Ribeye steaks and I think we swapped something else for the Brisket, but I am not sure what.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>All around, I think it was a pretty good deal for the money.
